I’m Lauren and I love all things crafty!

As a child, I often knitted and sewed stuffed toys with my Nan. I loved spending this quality time with her and look back on these memories in fondness.

However, becoming a teenager meant I stopped crafting. Fast forward to my first year at university, I decided to pick up some knitting needles. The first covid lockdown hit and thankfully I had a new hobby to keep me busy – what great timing!

In my third year of university, I decided to try my hand at needle felting – something I had wanted to try for a long time, but felt too intimidated to commit. It has since turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made! I have found so much joy from this hobby and love every moment spent stabbing at wool.

I have also learnt to crochet, making beautiful bouquets of flowers, amigurumi, and even some items of clothing for myself! I would like to continue this and make some more of my own patterns.

I have a very long to-do list regarding my crafty hobbies, so stay tuned!
